JAWAHARLAL NEHRU SCHOLARSHIPS FOR DOCTORAL STUDIES.
The Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund offers Scholarships for duration of up to 2 years to the Indian Nationals and nationals of other Asian countries for Ph.D. studies in India.
Eligibility: Minimum 60% marks in Master’s Degree, age below 35 years, Full-time Ph.D. Scholar and should already be registered for Ph.D. in a recognized Indian University, having valid GATE/NET Score.
Fields of Study: Science & Technology / Religion & Culture / Sociology / Indian History / Economics / Environment and Nehru Studies.
Monthly stipend: Rs 12000/- and annual Contingency up to Rs. 15,000/-
Application form can be obtained from Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund, Teen Murti House, New Delhi 110011 on cash payment of Rs. 100, If downloaded from website, the fee of Rs. 100 be deposited at any branch of state bank of India SB account No. 30666380015 & deposit slip sent with the completed application form. Postal order / DD also acceptable & be drawn in favour of “Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund”, Payable at New Delhi. Completed application forms should reach the Fund Office latest by 15th June, 2011.
