Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal invites application from eligible candidates for admission in to Post Graduate Programme in Forestry Management (PGDFM)

IIFM is sectoral management school imparting excellent management skills as well as managerial competence in the areas of forests, environment and development management it has a sprawling green campus spread over 200 acres with state-of-the art infrastructure. Eligibility Criteria: At least a three year Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% aggregate (45%for CS/ST/DA (Differently Abled; also referred to as Persons with Disability) or equivalent CGPA. Candidates appearing in final year of degree examination in 2011 can also apply provided they complete it before June 30, 2011.

Admission Procedure:-

1.    Apply and appear for CAT 2010 online examination. IIFM will use CAT score only for short-listing the candidates, IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.
2.    Apply to IIFM separately by obtaining admission bulletin and the application form personally or by post by sending a demand draft of Rs. 900 (Rs 450 for SC/ST) drawn in favour of Director, Indian Institute of Forest Management’. Candidates should keep a photocopy of the bank draft as it would be required at the time of filling up the Application From.
3.    Alternatively, the Application from can be downloaded from the website of IIFM and the filled in Application from along with the requisite fee mentioned above should be sent to IIFM.
4.    Alternatively, the Application forms can be obtained from IMS Study Centres. Candidates procuring the Application Form from the above study centre should enclose the photocopy of the case receipt issued by them.
5.    Group Discussions and Interviews for short—listed candidates will be held at IIFM, Bhopal during March / April 2011.

2.    Cut-off date for receipt of requests at DOEACC Head Quarters, Electronics Niketan, 6, CGO Complex, New Delhi for blank Examination Application Forms by post October 11,2010.
3.    Cut –off date for sale of Examination Application Forms at all Outstation centres (outside Delhi): October 20,2010.
4.    Last date for sale of Examination Application Forms from DOEACC Branch Office located at 2nd Floor, Parsvnath metro Mall, Inderlok Metro Station, Inderlok, Delhi: October 20, 2010.
5.    Closing Date for receipt of filled-in forms at DOEACC Society, Electronics Niketan, New Delhi, Either by post or by hand: November 1, 2010.

1.    Application Forms: Examination Application Forms for any Level (O,A,B&C) can be obtained on written request by candidates from DOEACC  SOCIETY, New Delhi, by sending Rs. 25/- per Examination Application form through a Demand Draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of “DOEACC SOCIETY” Payable at New Delhi. The forms can also be collected personally against cash payment at DOEACC’s Counter at Head Quarters.
2.    Filled-in Examination Application Forms are received by hand or through Registered / Speed Post only at the Office of the DOEACC Society at Electronics Niketan, 6, CGO Complex, New Delhi-110003. DOEACC Society will not be Responsible for any postal delay / loss in transit. The Candidates should ensure that filled-in Examination Application Forms along with requisite fee and all other necessary documents reach the office of the DOEACC Society at Electronics Niketan, New Delhi before the closing date as specified above. Examination Forms received after cut-off date shall be summarily rejected and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

Taking into account the postal transit time, including any postal delays, Accredited Institutes, in their own interest, may decide suitable cut-off dates for submission of filled-informs at their end by their Students so as to ensure that examination forms of their students are collected and forwarded to DOEACC, Delhi well within the prescribed cut-off date. Similarly, Students Submitting their Examination Application Forms through Accredited Institutes should make sure that their Examination Forms are posted in time. By the concerned Accredited Institute, so that the same reaches DOEACC at New Delhi within the stipulated cut-off date, notwithstanding any postal delays that may occur in the process.
3.    Accredited Institutes Submitting Examination Forms in Bulk in the form of a parcel must superscribe the parcel with the words “Examination Forms for January 2011 Examinations”. They should also notify the date of dispatch of the filled-in Examination forms on their respective Notice Boards for information of their students. A copy of such a notice should also be sent to DOEACC Society along with the bunch of Forms.
4.    The Exam Fee will be accepted in cash at the DOEACC Cash Counter at New Delhi only between 10AM To 3 PM on all working days. For Submission of the Forms by post, the candidates are required to remit the Examination Fee Through the designated Branches of Bank of India or through Bank Draft Favouring DOEACC payable at New Delhi. Payment by any kind cheques including multi-city cheques and postal orders shall not be accepted.

INCOMPLETE APPLICATION FROM WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES AND NO CORRESPONDENCE WHATSOEVER SHALL BE ENTERTAINED IN THIS REGARD.

5.    Registration is per-requisite for appearing in DOEACC Examinations, Candidates should keep this in mind while requesting for Examination Application Forms.

Attention of Institutions authorized to conduct DOEACC courses is invited to the requirement of remittance of Variable Accreditation Fee (VAF) and Awareness Creation fee (ACF) along with the forms submitted by them in respect of their Students. All Institutes are advised to go through the relevant instructions on the DOEACC Website and submit the separate Demand Drafts towards VAF And ACF along with the Examination Forms The Examinations Forms received from the Accredited Institutions not accompanied by Performa prescribed (available on DOEACC Website http://www.doeacc.edu.in/jsp/pdf/variablefee.(PDF) for the purpose along with the VAF and ACF shall not be accepted. Further, the financial burden on account of VAF and ACF should not be passed on to the students.

Eligibility Criteria for practical Examination: The Examination from is applicable for both, theory as well as practical Examination. Practical Examination Fee is Rs. 300/- for each Practical.

1.    For’’O’Level: Practical Examination (PR) is applicable for those candidates who have applied or passed in all modules i.e. M1–R3 to M4-R3 or M1-R4 to M4-R4. In some cases, however, candidates who have cleared some of the modules as per 3rd revised syllabus and would now opt for 4th revised syllabus, would also be eligible to undertake the practical examination in case they have appeared / cleared four modules, taking in to account the subjects of both the 3rd revised syllabus and the 4th revised syllabus. However the practical examination based on the 4th revised syllabus would be applicable for all such cases.
2.    For ‘A’ Level - Practical Examination – I 9PR-I) is applicable for those candidates who have applied or passed A1-R3 to A4-R3 / A1-R4 to A4-R4. Practical Examination - II (PR-II) is applicable for those candidates who have applied or passed A5-R3 to A10-R3/A5-R4 to A10-R4.
3.    For ‘B’ Level: There are 4 Practical in the ‘B’Level Examination. Practical Examination - I  (PR-I) is applicable for those candidates who have applied or passed B1.1-R3 to B1.4-R3/B1.1-R4 to B1.4-R4. Practical Examination –II (PR-II) is Applicable for those candidates who have applied or passed B1.5-R3 to B2.5-R3 / B1.5-R4 to B2.5-R4. Practical Examination III (PR-III) is applicable for those candidates who have applied or passed B3.3-R3 to B3.5-R3. Pricatical Examination IV(PR-IV) is applicable for those candidates who have applied or passed B4.3-R3 to B4.5-R3.

APPLICATIONS FOR B.SC (NURSING) / GENERAL NURSING & MIDWIFERY (GNM) COURSE.

Applications are invited from Female candidates for admission to 4 years B.Sc (Nursing ) course commencing in Aug 2011 at College of Nursing and 3 ½ years Training of Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery course commencing in Sep 2011 at various Armed Forces Hospitals. Selected candidates shall execute an agreement / Bond to Serve in the military Nursing Service (MNS) for 5 years. Eligibility Conditions

5.    Physical Standards: Medical fitness will be determined as per military Standards by military Authorities X-Ray examination of Chest and USG (of abdomen) will be done.
Selection: Eligible applicants will be called for an objective type written test of 90 minutes duration, covering General English, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and General intelligence, likely to be held in Dec 2010 / Jan2011. The parts of question paper pertaining to Biology, Physics, Chemistry and General Intelligence will be bilingual. Candidates as per merit on the basis of written test will be called for interview during Mar / Apr 2011. Final Selection will be based on combined merit, Subject to medical fitness.

ADMISSION IN TO MBA UNDER UNIVERSITY OF DELHI.


Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi invites application from eligible candidates for admission in to 2 year full time MBA, 3-year Part-Time MBA, 3-year Part-Time MBA in Health care Administration) and Ph.D. Programmes.

Eligibility:

1.    MBA  (Full Time ): Candidates applying for admission to the 2- year Full Time MBA Must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelor’s Degree programme after 12 yeas of formal schooling. The minimum requisite percentage of marks (in aggregate) in different disciplines: Arts, Commerce or Social Science- 50% ; Sciences-55% ; Mathematics or statistics- 60%; Medicine, Engineering or Technology- 60% / CGPA of at least 6.00 in a scale of 10.00 or post Graduate Degree or 2nd Degree examination after 10+2+3 scheme, securing at least 60% marks. Candidates appearing for the final examination of Bachelor’s post Graduate Degree examination may also apply.
2.    MBA (Part Time): Candidates seeking admission to the three-year MBA Part Time programme must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree Examination of at least three years duration in Arts, Commerce, Science, Engineering or Technology of the University of Delhi or any other University recognized as equivalent thereto with at least 45% marks in aggregate in the first Degree Examination and possess other qualifications mentioned hereunder. Relaxation from the minimum marks required in the First Degree Examination may be made for candidates who have obtained 55% or more marks in any post Graduate Degree or at least 60% marks in Diploma in Personnel Management, Diploma in Sales and Marketing Management or Diploma in Administrative Management of the University of Delhi. As on 1st August 2011, candidates should have a minimum of three years experience, as an Executive or Administrator in a Commercial, Industrial or Government Establishment after passing the Bachelor’s Degree Examination. Candidates must be sponsored by his /her present employer.
3.    MBA (Health care Administration) Part time: Candidates seeking admission to the three- years MBA (HCA) Part time programme shall have passed a Bachelor’s Degree Examination in medicine of the University of Delhi or any other experience as on 1st August 2011, in Health care Administration after acquiring the Bachelors Degree in Medicine. Candidates must be sponsored by his / her present employer.
4.    Doctoral programme: Candidates, except (a) Teachers of University of Delhi who have completed two years of experience (b), those appearing in final year examination of MBA (FT / MS / PT / HCA) at FMS or have successfully completed national scholarship (JRF though UGC / CSIR NET, CSIR / CAR / CCSR / DBT / DST / or other GOI fellowships, are required to take the admission test to be held on Sunday 5th December 2010 Candidates Exempted form the admission  test are required to apply to FMS by submitting the completed form of BRS, FMS, along with a demand draft of Rs. 250/-drawn in favour of Registrar, University of Delhi by 31st January 2011.
