National Institute of Immunology invites application from eligible candidates for admission into Ph.D. Program.
National Institute of Immunology (NII) is an autonomous institution under department of India. NII is committed to advanced research in 1) Chemical Biology, 2) Genetics & Cell Signaling, 3) Immunity & Infection, 4) Molecular & Cellular Biology, 5) Reproduction & Development and 6) Structural & Computational Biology.
Minimal academic qualifications required are: M.Sc. or equivalent in any branch of science, or M.Tech. or MBBS or M.V.Sc. or M.Pharm. or equivalent qualification as per the norms of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. 60% aggregate score or equivalent grade in Senior Secondary Certificate (10+2) and Bachelor’s Degree, and at least 55% aggregate score or equivalent grade in Master’s Degree is required.
The Institute invites application from candidates who have completed or are likely to complete the required courses this academic year. Reservations are as per statutory norms. The selection will be made on the basis of a written qualifying test on February 24, 2013 at any of the following five Centers: Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Pune & Guwahati. Interviews will be held for candidates qualifying the written test at the National Institute of Immunology, New Delhi from June 6-9, 2013. The selected candidates will be enrolled for Ph.D. program affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. For detailed information including application procedure, proforma etc.
